Green Magazine is a golf publication centered around providing top-quality content from the PGA Tour and anywhere around the golf universe. It is a project that I have loved working on and I believe it is the best representation of my work as a designer thus far.
The magazine is designed with minimalism and modernity in mind, unlike any other sports magazine you have seen before. Catering to a younger, fresher audience, Green Magazine would have weekly issues (digital and paperback) for readers to indulge in to gather the latest and best news around the golf world.
Example spreads:
Here’s a couple of spreads from the first issue of Green Magazine. Here you’ll gain an understanding for the style and content of the magazine.
Mockups:
Now to show some mockups so you can get a better idea of what this magazine would look like.
The real thing:
Ahead are some images showing some of the printing process for an issue of Green Magazine in collaboration with Katipo Creative.
In the real world, I believe there is a place for something like Green Magazine - which made it all the more fun to work on because it felt legitimate. I worked out things like bulk printing costs, target audiences, profit margins, a five year plan, subscription details and much much more. As a student, this project became my baby and I am definitely proud with how it turned out. I hope you enjoyed looking at the final product.
